SimpleModal is a lightweight jQuery Plugin which provides a powerful interface for modal dialog development. Think of it as a modal dialog framework. SimpleModal gives you the flexibility to build whatever you can envision, while shielding you from related cross-browser issues inherent with UI development.
SimpleModal is provided free of charge and released under the same terms as jQuery. SimpleModal was originally created for a project I was working on because I could not find a plugin that fit my needs.
Almost 2 years later, I am still surprised at the amount of interest that SimpleModal has received. I appreciate all of the people who have helped support it and am happy that so many find it useful.
With that said, I develop and support SimpleModal in my spare time. As SimpleModal increases in popularity, responding to the many support requests I receive has become increasingly difficult.
